Between Bass and Grantville, you’ll find a farm that has grown from a traditional dairy to a celebrated cheese producer. Known for its dedication to sustainable farming practices and exceptional dairy products, Bassine’s farm café is the perfect pit stop on your way to the coast

Glen, Kaye, and head cheesemaker Tone, produce a wide variety of artisanal cheeses. Each cheese is bespoke, reflecting the rich flavours of the farm’s high-quality milk.

Their range includes Brie, Camembert, Halloumi, Ricotta, Feta, washed rind, Parmesan, Colby, Gouda, and Quark. Their Feta comes in marinades like lemon myrtle, peppercorn, Tuscan herbs, and chilli. Staying true to their roots, Glen and Kaye have moved away from European names, instead naming their cheeses after local towns such as Bass, Kilcunda, and San Remo.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Bassine Speciality Cheese is the perfect stop to indulge in a delightful experience at the farm café. Sample an array of cheeses, enjoy one of the best milkshakes around, and treat yourself to freshly baked scones served with luscious farm cream.
