Known affectionately to many as “the local,” The Gurdies Winery has grown into a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike. The cellar door is open every weekend, offering wines by the glass, bottle or paddle, and hosting everything from weddings to CFA debriefs. The a purpose-built private function room sits separate from the main cellar door.

Owners Wendy and Bruce produce a range of cool-climate wines. From restoring Riesling vines to creating their ‘Burnt Offerings’ Rosé after the 2024 bushfires, their story is one of resilience, learning and community.
